You can register for a Hub account using an email invitation, a rewards card number, a QR code, or by self-registering on your company's Hub portal.
How to Register (choose your method)
Option A — Registering from an Email Invitation
Open the invitation email. The subject line reads "[Name], Unlock Exclusive Rewards with [Busines Name]!" The email introduces the rewards program and its benefits (ways to earn, redeem rewards, member perks).
Click Join Now. This opens the registration page pre-filled with the member's info on file.
Confirm the info on file. You'll see the child's Name, Date of birth, and Email already filled in. Review it, then choose:
- Confirm & Continue — info is correct
- Edit — make a small correction
- All of the info is wrong — flag it as fully incorrect
Why it matters: Confirming identity before account creation prevents duplicate or mismatched profiles. This is especially important for family accounts where a parent's email may be tied to more than one child.
Note shown on this screen: "You will receive occasional emails regarding this account. You can still use this email to create your own Family Manager account in the future." This appears when the same email is used for a child's account.
- Choose a username. Type your own, or pick one of the auto-generated suggestions (e.g., SuperCuckoo142). Click Refresh Suggestions for new options. Click Continue.
- Create a password. Enter a password (8+ characters, a mix of letters/numbers/symbols recommended). A strength meter shows live feedback (Too short → So-so → Strong). Check the box agreeing to the Terms of Service, then click Create Account & Finish.
- Done. After a brief "Finishing your registration..." loading screen, you're dropped straight into the Home dashboard — logged in, with starting points already visible.
Common Questions:
Q: Why does the account show my child's info already filled in? A: Your office added it when they invited your child to the program. You're just confirming it's accurate.
Q: Can I use my own email for my child's account? A: Yes, you'll put your email in the parent field and doing so won't stop you from creating your own separate account later.
Q: What if the pre-filled info is wrong? A: Use Edit for small fixes, or All of the info is wrong if nothing matches.
Option B — You have a 16-digit rewards card number:
- Download the mobile app.
- Tap or click Register.
- Enter your 16-digit rewards number when prompted.
- Complete the remaining steps to set up your account.
Option C — You do not have a number or invitation:
- Visit your company's Hub website and start registration. You'll land on "Join Your Business" with a field for a Business or Membership Code, plus a tip box showing where to find one (16-digit number on a membership card, or ask staff for the business code).
- Click Continue Without Code. Since you're already on your company's own site, the system recognizes that automatically. You'll see "Welcome to [Business Name]. We found your membership." Click Continue.
-
Tell us which best describes you:
- Current Patient — Create an account for myself
- Parent/Guardian of a Patient — Create an account to manage my family
- Interested in Services/Other — Explore services or products
For registering a child, choose Parent/Guardian of a Patient.
-
Choose who the account is for:
- The account is for me, the parent/guardian
- The account is for my child
Why it matters: This one click determines whether the system builds a standalone adult profile or a linked child profile under your management. Getting this step right avoids having to merge or recreate accounts later.
- Enter the child's basic info — first name, last name, and date of birth. Age is calculated automatically to apply age-appropriate features.
-
Choose how the account should be set up:
- Use my personal email — becomes the child's own login; can't be reused as a primary email on another account
- Use my parent/guardian's email — updates and password resets go to your inbox; you'll also pick a separate username for the child's login
Younger kids usually don't have their own inbox, so routing account activity to a parent's email keeps the parent in the loop without needing the child to manage email at all.
- Enter the parent/guardian's email (if chosen in step 6). A note explains what happens next: "We'll send a verification to the email above. Once confirmed, you can choose your username and password."
- Check your email. A 5-digit code arrives at the parent's inbox (the screen literally says "Check your parent's email" when this path is used). Enter the code. Didn't get it? Use Resend code.
- Choose a username for the child's login — type your own or pick a suggestion.
- Create a password (8+ characters, mix of letters/numbers/symbols, live strength meter), agree to the Terms of Service, and click Create Account & Finish.
- Done. After "Finishing your registration...", you land on the child's Home dashboard, greeted by name with their starting points already showing.
Common Questions:
Q: Can I skip entering a code entirely? A: Yes — if you're registering through your company's own Hub website, click Continue Without Code and the system matches you to that practice automatically.
Q: Which email should I use for my child's account? A: Either works — their own email if they have one, or yours if they don't. Using yours doesn't stop you from also creating your own separate account, as long as you entered it into the parent field.
Q: Why do I need to pick a username if I already entered an email? A: When a parent's email is used for a child's account, the username becomes the child's actual login credentials. The email is for notifications and password resets.
Option D — You Scanned a QR Code
- Scan the QR code using your phone's camera app. iOS and Android will recognize it automatically and show a banner or prompt. Tap it to open the registration link.
- Confirm your membership. You'll land on a welcome screen with a green checkmark: "Welcome to [Company Name]. Great! We found your membership. Let's set up your account."
-
Tell us who this account is for. Choose the option that fits:
- Current Patient/Client — Create an account for myself
- Parent/Guardian of a Patient — Create an account to manage my family
- Interested in Services/Other — Explore services or products
If you're a parent or guardian registering on behalf of a child, choose Parent/Guardian of a Patient here instead of Current Patient. Everything else in this flow works the same way from this point on.
- Enter basic info. First name, last name, and date of birth (month, day, year). Age is calculated automatically. Why it matters: Date of birth lets the Hub apply age-appropriate features and stay compliant with privacy regulations for younger members.
- Add your personal email, or skip typing entirely by tapping Continue with Facebook, Continue with Google, or Continue with Apple.
- Verify your email. A 5-digit code is sent to the address you entered. Enter it in the boxes provided. Didn't get it? Use Resend code.
- Create your password. Use 8+ characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols — a strength meter shows how secure it is as you type. Check the box agreeing to the Terms of Service, then tap Create Account & Finish.
- You're in. After a brief "Finishing your registration..." screen, you land on your new Home dashboard — greeted by name, with your starting points balance already showing.
Common Questions:
Q: What's the difference between "Current Patient" and "Parent/Guardian of a Patient"? A: Current Patient sets up your own account. Parent/Guardian lets you manage the account on behalf of a child or family member — the rest of registration is identical either way.
Q: Can I sign up with Google or Apple instead of typing an email? A: Yes — tap the matching button on the email step and follow the prompts.
Q: Is a password required if I sign up with Facebook, Google, or Apple? A: No — social sign-in skips the password step entirely.
After Registering
- Download the mobile app
- You'll be able to view your points, earn rewards, and manage your profile.
Common Questions:
Q: Can I use the same email for my child's account and my own? A: Yes — but your child's account needs its own unique username for login. You can enter your email in the child's "Parent/Guardian Info" section without using it as their login.
Q: I didn't get an invitation email. What should I do? A: Check your spam/junk folder first. If it's not there, contact your practice and ask them to resend the registration invitation from your member profile.
Q: The registration page says my email is already in use. What does that mean? A: Your email may already be associated with another account (e.g., a child's account). Contact your practice or email support@culturello.com for help.
