We believe that empowered members—especially younger ones—deserve secure, streamlined experiences that grow with them. If you're managing an account for a member under 18 and need to update or remove their email address, we’ve got you covered with a few quick steps. 👇

🎯 Before You Begin

A member’s email can be removed, but only after two things are in place:

  1. A Unique Username – This becomes the member’s new login ID.

  2. A Responsible Party Email – This should be the parent or guardian’s email so important updates don’t get lost.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Create a Unique Username

Start by going to the member’s profile and click on the Profile Information dropdown.

If the current login is an email, add a new, unique username.
(Tip: Usernames must be one-of-a-kind across the Hub, so something like jenny_smith_2030 works well.)

Add a Responsible Party Email

  • Make sure a valid parent/responsible party email is listed under their profile.

  • This email will be used for account recovery and essential communication.

Remove the Member Email

  • Go back to the member’s email field.

  • Clear the email address (leave the field blank).

  • Enter your account password to confirm.

  • Hit Confirm to save changes.

That’s it! The member email is now removed. Their login is now username-based, and all important updates will go to the responsible party.

💡 Why This Matters

This update helps keep young members safe, while still allowing them to participate, earn rewards, and stay on track with their goals—all while giving parents peace of mind. 🛡️
